Healthy Home Gourmet Delivery

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (February 26, 2009)- Dining Details, a gourmet, organic personal chef service, will launch it's "Healthy Home Gourmet Delivery" cuisine program for busy lifestyles on March 16, 2009. The program is designed to offer a healthy alternative to families and couples, giving clients fresh, restaurant quality food to enjoy while embracing a healthy eating plan.

The program is less customized and less regimented than the personal-chef-for-hire programs, or the customized weight loss or special needs diets that Dining Details already has in place. It is designed for couples and families who want convenience and quality, but don't necessarily need 100% customized cuisine. It will appeal to many clients because of the non-commitment aspect; clients can order the cuisine on the weeks that they need it- but have no obligation to receive food on the weeks that they do not need it.

The program will work like this: Interested clients will subscribe to a weekly email blast, notifying them of six entrees that will be on the menu for the following week. They can also visit the Dining Details Website; www.dining-details.com to find the following week's menu. Clients can choose between 4-6 items, in packages of 1, 2 or 4 servings.  Orders will need to be received by Friday for the following Tuesday's deliveries. All meals will be delivered on Tuesdays, ready to heat and serve, or to freeze. Some substitutions will be permitted, though this program is designed more for clients who enjoy variety and sampling new items.

Menus might include entrees like Prosciutto Wrapped Halibut with Tomato Confit and Acorn Squash Puree; Apple cider braised chicken breast with Sauteed Spinach and Fennel, with Roasted Potatoes; Spice Rubbed NY Strip Steak with Poblano Demi Glace and Chipotle Yam Au Gratin; Seared Salmon with Orange Sake Reduction and Stir Fried Veggies, Chicken Enchiladas with Corn and Black Beans in Tomatillo Sauce; Roasted Pork Loin with Yam Hash, Bourbon Maple Sauce, and Green Beans, among others. Vegetarian options will also be available each week.

Julie Frans, CEO of Dining Details said, "Aside from convenience and, often, weight loss, our clients experience an overall heightened sense of well being once they start eating all-natural food created with care, quality, and the concern for our clients; health and well being. Not only do their bodies respond to the portioned, deliciously organic meals that we prepare, but in time, clients naturally tend to develop a taste and desire for healthier food choices and portion sizes outside of their Dining Details cuisine."

Dining Details offers a variety of culinary services from "live" in-home Personal Chef Services to Healthy Home Gourmet Delivery. The company hosts extraordinary Dinner Parties, or can create interactive dining experiences with one of their How-To Cooking Parties. Dining Details also specializes in creating special occasion luxury Destination Dinners and Romantic Dinners for Two.

"Food should be seasonal, fresh, and free of chemicals. We use the highest quality ingredients available – local farm produce, environmentally sound seafood, lean, organic meats and poultry, artisan cheeses and ethically chosen ingredients. We strive to reconnect the earth and the table to bring you the most flavorful cuisine, customized menus, personal service, and luxury of healthy fine dining," said Frans.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (February 26, 2009)- The January 15th "Thirsty Thursday" was a huge success! Dining Details "kicked off" the new year with Burgers and Bordeaux, the first official "Best of" San Diego Food and Wine Pairing. Guests dined on an array of gourmet sliders as they sipped aptly paired reds. The menu included such renditions of the American classic; Sirloin Sliders with Pt. Reyes Blue Cheese, Arugula and Sauteed Shitakes; Tri-Tip Burgers with Horseradish Cream on Hawaiian Buns; Lamb Burgers with Cranberry Port Demi and Goat Cheese, Caprese Sliders with Heirloom Tomatoes, Basil Pesto, and Prosciutto; Truffled Fries with Parmesan and Herbs; and Chino Farms Cabbage Salad with Apples in Poppyseed Vinaigrette.

The next Thirsty Thursday, "Best of" San Diego, Spring Fling will be held on April 9th, at 6:30 at Meritage Wine Market. Featuring all local, Spring produce from Chino Farms and other local purveyors, Dining Details and Meritage will be pairing dishes with "light and bright, fresh and juicy" wines hand selected for Spring.  Owner, Mark Davidowski explains that these "higher acidity wines pair best with food," like Chablis with shellfish, or Pinot Noir with duck confit.  This pairing's menu will include such delights as Salmon Tartare on Sushi Rice Cakes with Dill Creme Fraiche and Wilted Pea Shoots; Duck Confit, Goat Cheese, and Braised Cherries on Toastettes; Wild Mushroom and Morel Tartlettes with Brie, Ramps, and Green Garlic; and Rhubarb Compote on Almond Cakes for Dessert.

Dining Details was voted #1 Caterer in 2008 on the Channel 10 A List, San Diego, delivering the best in personalized and customized gourmet cuisine and service. Meritage Wine Market was also voted #1, as Best Wine shop in San Diego. Naturally, this makes Dining Details the perfect pairing, and now bringing San Diego's "Best Of" to the public with Custom Dinner and Wine Pairings for any occasion.
